November Challenge finally finished

I finally finished my November challenge. I made a LO with some pictures I found of me with my sisters when we were small children. I used mini file folders to make a mini album which I added to the LO for additional photos and journaling. Then I made a paint can for my sister. We found so many little things like pieces of jewelry (some broken, single earrings), fancy buttons, small toys from our childhood, our ggrandfathers broken pocket watch, etc.....(you get the idea) when we were going through our mother's things. She saved everything. We divided up some of the things and I though of the paint can for her to keep the things in. I hope to make one for myself next. I even had enough scraps to make a mini star album to hang from a chain on the paint can for her to add some favorite family photos. Then I also made two cards. I put pictures up on my webshots in the Challenge album. See what you think. I did sort of cheat on the challenge as I discovered the paper I had selected was 'double dip" and I turned it over to get more variety on my can. I also used a small piece of scrap orange in my mini album on the LO that was not in the original kit. Sandy

Hi Sandy! I like the way you did that mini album on that LO! very cool! Did you use elastic or string across it to hold it down? I never would have thought of printing an old photo on Bazzill cardstock. what a clever idea!!! The paint can is precious for precious memories! really pretty! I may have to scraplift that idea for my heritage albums that I am "supposed" to be working on.

I really like what you did with your kit. The page is great, and I really like the mini book idea. A neat way to add more pictures. The paint can is very cute. What a nice way to store all her memories of your mom.
