June Challenge Completed - late

Jul 10, 2005 18 Replies

I finished my June Challenge last night at the monthly crop. Didn't get home until well after midnight so I'm posting it today, late as usual!!!! It's a pretty simple LO. See what you think. It's in my Challenge Album. Sandy

Hey Sandy in this case simple is great! I really like it! Linda C Illinois

Oh I love it Sandy! Simple really was the way to go on this one, and yet, it doesn't looke "simple". Does that make sense? I really like it.

Sandy,

It's inspired! Great job, well worth the wait!

Love the layout!! you did a great job! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I've been working my wiy up through the grades with the school pictures. With five kids that might take a while, but when I saw the material in my kit this month I knew which picture to use. DD really liked it too. Sandy

Thanks, Melissa! I a real procrastinator. Always down to the wire. DH said that's why I barely made it into the hospital to deliver. Sandy

Thanks, Lynne. It just sort of fell into place. Sandy

Thanks, Tabitha. I appreciate the feedback. Sandy

Thanks, Cathy. Me too! I just love metal and wire. I found rolls of pewter and aluminum and copper at Michaels on clearance for $3.00 each. The brand is ArtEmboss by Paragona. It's soft embossing metal and cuts with scissors. It's soft enough it embosses when you write on it. That's what I cut and folded for the tag that says 4th. I just punched a hole with a needle and used a brad to fasten in down after writing the 4th with a pencil. I can make my metal embellishments real cheap that way. The dog tags came from ebay - bought them in a large quantity. Sandy
