I finally found the time to complete my February Challenge. The page is pretty simple, and it's the first time I changed a color photo to black & white. It's under challenges in my webshots. Sandy

How creative Sandy to capture details of your life on the tags. Love it.
Sandy that's great. Love the greens with the black and white photo. Thanks for sharing.
Looks great!! Love how you did everything!!
Sandy, your February challenge page is lovely. The soft green with the black & white photo looks great.
Sandy,
I love what you did with the tags, in an instant a life is captured. It's a definate scraplifting idea. Thanks for sharing!

Oh I love what you did with the tags! I also like the way you used the ribbon to "hang" the photo. Your LO looks great!
Oh Sandy!!! I love it!!! The light green shades works great with the b&w phodie! And I love the way it looks like an " old-fashioned hanging picture". It fits great with the lyrics of the song :))) Now I didn't figure you for an Alice Cooper kinda gal! ;) Love that song! Hey Cookie just wanted to give her input too ;))

Guess I got to add phodie to peeps in my vocabulary, LOL! Love all those neat expressions!

Thank you! You'd be surprised at the music played in this house. We go from Alice Cooper to Chuch Berry to Rod Stewart to the Beach Boys to The Guess Who to The Carpenters in one afternoon. Classical music in the evenings, sitar music at night and steel drum band to start the day. My youngest DS is into rap and my youngest DD is country. I was raised by my grandmother so I grew up with big band music of the 30's and 40's playing on the record player. My great aunt was a piano player and she was into jazz. I took a music appreciation course in college and learned that music stimulates the brain. Every new melody you hear increased brain activity. We try to give our children an appreciation of all forms of music - they attended their first philharmonic orchestra performance before they started school. Music definitely sets the mood........ Sandy
I also love all kinds of music Sandy! From ole blue eyes straight through to Eminem! At the moment I'm in a Big Band and Jazz phase :) It brings back great memories of my Grand Parents and I can still see my Grand Dad in my minds eye doing the Charleston. My Granny always use to tease him and say that's why he had to walk with a cane! He passed when I was seven and was a strick old guy, but always with a twinkle in the eye ;). Nothing like music to bring back all those special moments.

Very nice Sandy!:>)
Thank you, Lynne. I love tags - maybe I should buy them in bulk. Sandy
Thanks, glad you liked it. I thought it was plain by my standards, but I do like simple LO's inbetween to sort of slow down the pace. Greens and purples are my favorite colors. Sandy
Thank you Tabitha. Sandy
I wasn't sure if I would like black & white, but I think I will be using it more often now that I have tired it. Sandy
Thanks, I've been thinking about doing a similar page for each of my children using tage to note important moments in life. Sandy
Sometimes I think I over use the photo hanging from ribbon - I have it in several of my LO's, but I think it is a neat look - hanging on the page. My greatgrandmother had pictures hanging on the walls with frames all over her house and they were hung with ribbon and leather cords. I like to see important photographs 'hung' that was in my albums. Sort of like a tradition. Sandy
Thanks, Trish. Sandy
