LO's posted

I've been attempting to take pictures of some of my LO's since I got my digital camers back from the shop so you can see some of my pages. I placed them on the community webshots site. I hope I did it right and you can see them. I've never posted pictures to the web before.

Thank you so much for sharing your layouts. I particularly liked Fall wire leaves, trimming the tree and Jesse Bugs at 3. I think you are a very creative person and I'm sure that we will benefit from hearing about and seeing more of your creations.

Great job. I love the wire with the Christmas bulbs and trees. Where did you find the corn stalk paper or was it a picture blown up and used as background? So what do you do with the make and take. They are really great.!!!

Thanks! I was worried about putting my LO's on the web because I worry that people won't like them. I've looked at several of the LO's the rest of the group has posted and can see how great they are. I think I'm just too critical of my own work. I loved the look of the micro beads on the bugs in 'jesse bugs' I think it's one of my fav techniques. Sandy in Southern Indiana

Thanks! Sometimes I think I spend too much time on each individual page. I work slow....there are times it takes me a week of looking at and changing a LO before I'm ready to "put it down." Sandy in Southern Indiana

I'm glad you like them. I think I collect new tools and techniques like others collect paper and embellishments. I'm always looking at new ideas in the magazines. I just picked up some epoxy yesterday to try. When I put it in the cart at WalMart my DH looked at me and said "I don't even want to know." Sandy in Southern Indiana

I'm a member of a crop group that meets once a month on a Saturday - open crop from 10 to whenever the last one leaves.(last Saturday it was

2 am) We each pay $20 every three months to cover the cost of the rent on the building and to do a make-n-take at every crop. We tried to rotate so each person had the make-n-take over time, but you know how that goes........we had some no shows and "i forgot" so I just sort of ended up taking it on myself. I try to come up with a new technique every month for the others to try, as we have several beginners in the group. The group got so big we had to move to a new building three months ago. There can be anywhere from 18 to 40 at a crop. We have a mailing list of around 75. Last Saturday at the crop we did a gift exchange and everyone brought a LO in and placed it face down on the table. We drew numbers and the fight was on - when your number was called you could pick a new LO or take one someone else had already picked. It was lots of fun. I took pictures of all of the LO's, but have not yet had a chance to load them on the computer.

Great pages Sandy. I like the way you attached the small stars to the large one on All American Boy. Molly sure is a cutie. Your new techniques pages are very cool. I like all the little circle boxes. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I'm glad you like them. I didn't think I would use a sizzix as much at first, now I don't know what I would do without it. Use it for scrapbooking, scouts and childcare..... Sandy in Southern Indiana

Glad you liked them. 215 pages......wow!! I think I work too slow sometimes. I told my older DD she had to start scrapbooking or stop having children because I'm never going to catch up to the grandchildren. Sandy in Southern Indiana

I'm not sure which is the more expensive of the two, another child or a scrapbooking addiction! :)
