Been making clipboards

Hi Sandy. I took a look at your very cute clipboards! I love your work! I also looked at your Stamp Camp Christmas cards, I must have missed those before..they are all so pretty!!! I wish it could be Christmas longer..I love doing Christmas projects! thanks for showing us!

Those are wonderful Sandy, the cans too! I meant to get around to making some clipboards but didn't. I did just do an altered letter "H" this afternoon for my daughter's room for Christmas

They are wonderful Sandy!!! I have several clip boards in mind to do for gifts. I need a few more nights of sleeplessness and maybe I'll get them done! LOL Made an art doll that way the other night! Was making it in my mind so decided to get up and make him! Sheesh, I need more sleep. Though I believe that's how M-C is, makes it in her head that then it goes together quickly, thanks M-C!!

Forgot to say that I'll bet the teachers loved the clipboards. What great gift ideas!

Thanks. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, too. We have craft projects going on in about every room of the house. DH has learned to overlook daycare projects drying on the kitchen cabinets. Sandy

Thanks, Barb. My favorite too. DH said her classroom aide loved it and was showing everyone who walked into the room. I thought about giving one to their bus driver too, but decided to stick with the gift certificate to the Amish restaurant. She deserves much more for what she deals with. And she definitely needs an evening out. Two years ago I put six kindergarteners (all boys) on the bus every morning. She's a saint. Sandy

Thanks, Kenda. I figured out the paper I was using and then waited until everyone went up to bed, then layered on the paper and modpodge before going to bed. I put on another layer when I got up and one in the afternoon during naptime. Then a final coat then evening again before going to bed, so it actually took me two days to make one. Sandy

Thanks, Shannon. I downloaded a template from the Internet and enlarged it by 130% (I think) before cutting it out. (My coluzzle was a little too small.) Just traced it on the cardstock and cut out. I needed it a little bigger for the cards. I bought a hundred library cards at the teacher's supply store for $2. Just stamped an appropriate design on the top of each card and stuck them in the holder. Here's the website:

I found most of my ribbon at Joann's. They have these bags of 15 assorted 1 yard pieces of holiday ribbon for 1.99. It saved me searching for ribbon. Sandy

They are so nice... I actually bought 2 plain clipboards the other day while I was shopping with DH, and I told him about all the wonderful ideas I get from this group. Well, I'm still not entirely sure what I'll use them for, but I sure am looking forward to trying something new!! Thanks for sharing yours, all inspiration is VERY welcome... :) luv Cec...xxx
