Card Camp

I went to a Stampin Up card camp this morning. Thought you might like to see the cards I got to make. I used the Stampin Up crayons and a watercolor pen for the first time. I really had fun with that one. Four of us got together and decided to order the crayons. We're going to split the price and each get 12 at a time, that way the price is not too much at once. We did this with the markers last year. The are in my webshots account in the Miscellaneous album.

Your cards are beautiful Sandy! I have the set of tree stamps that you used on the second page bottom left. That stamp is my favorite of all the ones I own!:>)

Isn't card making addictive!

Hey Sandy they look really nice. I just went to a Stamp Camp myself 2 weeks ago and used some of the very same cards. I bought the snowman stamps the ones that you can build a snomman. The card we made was so cute. I swear not to buy more stamps every time I go and don't do so well at keep that promise.

I think this card making stuff can get addicting. After DS and I made those for the soldiers I have found myself looking for ideas to make more cards. I'm ordering the snowman building set at a party next week. What did the card you made look like? I'm definitely not opposed to cardlifting!!! I wish they would do a class where they show you lots of different ideas using only one stamp set. Sandy

oooh I like the idea of a class showing you many ideas on how to use one stamp set. I'll take a picture of the cards I made too if my digital camera will cooperate. It has a mind of it's own lately. I'm thinking a new one for Christmas might be needed.

That would be great. Thanks. My DD wants a digital camera for Christmas. I just got the Black Friday ad for Office Max and they have one that looks good for $49.(DXG-409 4.0 Megapixel) that's half price. We've been through 3 regular cameras with her in the last 3 years and I just can't see buying her an expensive one just yet. Sandy

Thanks! That's the one the kids want us to do for our Christmas cards this year. Sandy

I have that set too. It's one I have used with bleach on dark blue cardstock and then glittered. Makes a very pretty border. Sandy

Thanks. My problem now is to decide which one or ones to use for our Christmas cards this year. Sandy

It just took that one card to get me hooked on them. That's why four of us went in and bought a set. Every month we are going to buy another set and divide them until we each have a set. My thought was not so much cards as what I could do on a scrapbook page with them - especially my heritage album. Sandy
