A nice surprise in the mail

Before we got our cable back, the mail lady brought me a nice surprise - a square envelope from Creative Memories... I wondered what on earth it was but then I realised it was my free scrapbooking kit that I ordered way back in May! It took so long to come that I was sure they'd run out before they got to me, but I guess they got more in! Did anyone else get their kit lately?

I HAD forgotten about it long ago... I know some people got theirs in July, which was when I figured I must have missed out! It's a cute kit too - with a pair of metal frames and some metal words and a little sheet of lettering and some tags and double-sided cardstock and fibers... now I just have to figure out how to attach the metal to cardstock!

Karen, I bought and tried a couple different "mixed media" scrappin glues from lss' and they did not work for me. I finally resorted to super strength glue dots or tacky tape. That stuff WORKS!!!

The only kind of liquid type glue I found that works for me is Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Adhesive. I use it for buttons, metal, fiber and most items I glue unless it is a heavier metal item. Then I use a little bit of crystal effects as glue. Works great. Sandy
