She hasn't scanned brilliantly as I have coated her wings with Perfect Pearls then sprinkled on Glamour Dust, which is really pretty. I stamped on textured card and used watercolour pencils to colour in, then used my water brush to softly blend. Hope you like her :o)

Thanks Klara...I have already put another up next her and will try and get more done today. It is really humid and horrid in my craft room in the attic....so I don't know how long I can spend up here without melting away to an greasy spot....LOL I may resort to using the fan to move the air around...that may help :o)

Marilyn! Good to see you on the group again :) Both cards look beautiful :) Just wish I could see them IRL, becaus scanning does not do your work justice - with all that wonderful detail :))) Good luck with the next ten - looking forward to see them. I just love fantasy stuff! I've heard on BBC news that you guys are having a terrible heat wave - trusting it will get cooler soon your side.

Hi Judy...Glad you like the two cards and I understand what you mean about scanning. Both examples have opalescent wings with the Glamour Dust added. It is a very fine glitter with hints of different colours that glint when you move the card. I have sat today and painted another 6 figures and I am waiting for them to dry thoroughly before I add some additional touches.

The weather here has finally broken and it has been raining steadily for a few hours now. It is much less humid now and a good deal cooler.....DH has just put on a jumper.....LOL Me...I have my hormones to keep me warm LOLOLOL

Judy....I can cope with the internal central heating via estranged hormones but I loath the "meno speak" when brain and mouth disconnect and I rabbit a load of garbage...LOL Makes me feel as if I am losing my marbles...but wait....maybe I am!!!!!! ROFL

Take care, Marilyn (Scotland UK)

Nice to have you back posting Marilyn. Those are fun cards. I think I like Alida Ruth the best so far.

I'm with Lorilee, Alida Ruth is so pretty. But it could just be that you are just getting better and better still, Marilyn!

I like Alida Ruth also M-C :o) I am just easing myself in gradually again! The first couple were just matted and layered on a plain white card and the metallic cardstock for used for matting just looks black when scanned. They are nicer IRL.....promise :o) However, I am not a natural painter so I need some practice to get the shading and stuff to look passable. LOL

Thanks Lorilee,,,,I like her best also :o)
