1st Pippsywoggins card done

Your cards are beautiful Marilyn. I think I like Frannie Jane the best. Love the colors you used.

Your cards are just lovely and I was wondering what the heck was a Pippsywoggin thinking it must be an English character. Come to find out the gal who created it is from Michigan. haha I found the above link while looking up Pippsywoggin. Maybe another idea you could do in your spare time. ;)

Lynne....I will browse the link later...thanks :o) Didn't you see my reply to Dave when he though Pippsywoggins was a weird foreigners term?....LOL The stamps are designed for polymer clay use but can be used for papercarfts. I actually got a great deal on them, as they were Last Clicks on QVC at about a third of the price. I thought they would make nice cards and embellishments for kids stuff but I might also try some polymer clay items when I need something new to try.

Yes, after seeing the link the gal is definitely a polymer clay enthusist. I like your stamped images on paper. You're doing very lovely things with them. I didn't see Dave's post. Some posts including my own don't always go through. Or sometimes they'll show up as read after I've already read through all the posts. I never know what's going on with the web sometimes.

I also have done one for the front of one of my ring binders and used my Sakura Glaze Gelly Roll pans to colour it in. Much more intense colour and would be fab on children's LO's Wish I had more time to try out the polymer clay stuff...I have the clay just lack the time LOL I think the polymer clay would make pretty kids necklaces as well.

Marilyn, Welcome back! You've been missed. The cards are cute. I purchased the watercolor crayons and pencils from Stampin Up, but have not had the time to give them a try. DD is very artistic with things like that. I need to just give them to her to play around with so she can learn and show me later. Sandy

Thanks Sandy...I missed the group also :o) It is good to be back with you all and catching up!

Glad you like the cards :o) I saw those SU crayons on eBay and wondered if they would be good. I use the watercolour pencils or Caran d'Ashe Neocolor II water colour crayons, which have stronger pigment, but I am no artist.....LOL I have just bought Derwent Aquatone, which are quoted as having four times the pigment of watercolour pencils and also their new Inktense pencils. Can't wait to try them out! You should try yourself ......you will have great fun with them :o) All you need is a water brush or a paint brush and a pot of water.

Take care, Marilyn
