My scrap area

Everyone has been sharing their scrap areas so I thought I would take pics of mine while it was half-way clean. (Just the scrap table - not the desk. Thank goodness the keyboard pulls out or I would never find it.) I use a cubbie off the side of the office that is shared with the computer. The whole area is about 8' square. It's in my webshots account under Miscellaneous. I just uploaded so they might not show up right away. Sandy

This is so my fantasy room. Everything out and can be seen as opposed to which drawer, box, basket could it be in.

Thanks for sharing, Kate

Sometimes when I get started on a Lo I end up not getting back to it for days - it will just sit on the table and I will stop and look, move a few things around and leave it for later. I just have to remember to keep the scissors back out of reach and put the cutters up on the wire shelves. Sandy

Actually the only reason you can see the table is I brought my stuff back from the crop and decided it needed to be re-organized. I also have a problem of the kids putting things on top of the table for want of a better place. I've been known to pull one of the 12x12 boxes from the upper shelves and put it on top of the pile on the table and work on top of the heap. Sandy

Nice scrap area Sandy. So well organized. I like the way you have your ribbons spools organized. Where did you get the cardboard boxes with the handles and are they 12 x 12?

Thanks, Judy. I just wish I could keep everyone else out of the area. That way I would know where everything is all of the time instead of hunting for supplies. Sandy

I've got to get DH to build some more bookshelves upstairs in the hallway. The books I took off the shelves to put supplies on are 'crying' to get out of the boxes. I hate to have to dig for a book I know I have. If I buy any more stampin up sets I will have to empty another shelf. Sandy

Highsmith makes them. 12x12. I just love them - use for paper, albums and LO's until they get put into an album. I've been using one to take to crops with power LO's ready to put together.
