Seeking bead chain

Well, I've Googled myself out trying to figure out what terms would get me a hit.

What I'm looking for, specifically, is a chain that's thin enough to string Swarovskis on, leaving some chain exposed as part of the design. I can't seem to find what it is I'm looking for.

Is this something so scarce these days that the only way to find it is a trip to NYC or Rhode Island to seek what costume jewerly industry is left? Or am I just not searching the right way? :)

TIA for any info,

Michele

You're looking for Foxtail, which was widely used in the past for stringing jewelry. Monsterslayer has it.

I'd also take a look at very fine chain by the foot. There's plenty out there that's under a millimeter in size. Monsterslayer has that, too.
