stretchy bead cord

Hi I'm kind of new to beading and I'm on a desperate search for a heavy duty stretchy beading cord. It needs to be fabric not neoprene or plastic. It also needs to still be thin enough to get through the holes in the beads. I am trying to create this new bracelet design I can up with but the beads I am using are very heavy. Can anyone please help me? I would also need to know the best way of knotting the cord so it is durable and won't break. I would greatly appreciate any advice that is given to me. Thank you, Andrea Manella ndd1"at"ptd.net

I've seen your question several times - wish I could help more!! The only stretchy cord I personally use is Stretch Magic because of the durability, and because it knots easily. Any fabric cord is likely not to hold up to the strain of using heavy stone beads. You might try the kind of elastic cording that is sold in many fabric stores - I used to work in a fabric store, and they usually put elastic cord in with the other waistband elastics.
