Bead Bug

I have been struck by the Bead Bug. I have wandered aimlessly around the crafting arena searching for something that I could invest money and time.

I thought that when I started to learn how to bead, that it would be just simple things. I should have known better. I am fascinated by the lampworking beads. Now alas, I'm going to have to move in that direction in a couple of months. Wow

LOL. I can sympathise (not that you want it of course). In my case a friend sent some beads to me about 2 years ago for me to put in a quilt for another friend. I liked the beading bit so much I carried on beading and have almost given up the quilting. The beading bug hit hard here! :-)

< I am also very interested in doing lampwork. The start up cost is very high. I want to do other things also and will someday, but I need to find a way to focus on one task, (goal), and follow through with it. I am not sure if beading is for me though. I spent 2 hours trying to create a beaded fringe at I did get one done, but it was small and then I took it apart. My hat is off to those who do any kind of beading!
