Swarovski coatings

Does anyone have any experience on how durable these are?

There are just too many choices out there.

My head is exploding from the pain of trying to figure out what's what.

Right, there's a challenge then. First, I buy a bunch of Swarki coated crystals, then I subject them to untold abuse and then report back.

OMG, that means I must buy crystals! Oh the pain.

Su,

String some on a bit of wire and toss it in the tumbler with some shot. That would be about as bad as it would get, I should think.

Ok. But we're NOT wearing them to test them while being rolled around in the tumbler!

I want to test them the organic, natural, sustainable and multi-cultural way, by wearing them to exhaustion.

Aaaargh! They'd end up *powder*!

I find Swarovski to be somewhat susceptible to chipping. And at the weekend, I "popped" one in half by trying to force too many threads through it in a RAW watchband I was making. :P
