Hi there. No one is safe. Supposedly, she/he got thrown off Google for doing this spam flooding routine, but it's back.



I have a question. I'm presently working with 1.5mm leather cord and am not interested in finishing the ends with a crimp device that has a hook or loop. The only crimps i've found are the regular-old tube crimps and bell caps crimps. Are there other loopless crimps out there? I've even thought about getting some looped crimps and clipping and filing the loops off.

hi, Valerie - Yes, i'm thinking this is what i'll be using. maybe a little bit longer, like 4 or 6mm. The crimp will serve as the cord end, sans a loop. I found some interesting twisted tube crimps that i might use. Suppose to be a little more secure. regular crimps are not as snazzy as the cord ends with the nice detail. This is when i think i'll try whacking off the loops, then filing the end piece smooth. There are also springy, coil ends that look good if the loop is taken off. Again with the loops.

i'm a little wordy today.
