One Happy Person!!!

Well, I did it! I now have a Bernina Aurora QE 440. I should be loosing weight very soon since I can no longer afford to buy cookies, ice cream or anything that isn't necessary to sustain life. I'm off to play...

Howdy!

Oh, goody!

Just for that, to celebrate your new ownership of a Bernina, I'm having a piece of red velvet cake w/ cream cheese frosting (The Red Oven Bakery is on the way home from the library... well, it is! I always go that way, honest!). Congrats, Bonnie!

R/Sandy - hearing "Berneener-neener-neener" in my head... ;-D

By the authority vested in me and being of sound mind and body, =) , I hereby give Bonnie permission to tag her new tool with sticky notes. There will be buttons and dials on that beautiful new Bernina that are not familiar to you. Simply learning where the cutting width on my serger is just doesn't stick in my mind. A 'post it' tends to that problem very nicely. The worst new SM challenge I ever had to deal with was changing the feet on a Viking. The instructions talked about a spring. Well. Anybody knows what a spring is - it is a 'boing' looking thingie like a Slinky. Nope. Not on a Viking. Congratulations, Bonnie. Have a very good time and do remember that help is here when something baffles you. Polly

Thank you - at the moment I have the machine sitting on a desk next to my computer. I have the CD in the computer and I'm using it as a reference until I become aquainted with my "Nina". Then she'll move to her place of honor in my sewing room. Sticky notes will definitely help - where did I put them?
