Do many of you trade beads or is it more of a buy/sell market?

I am know as queen of the swaps. I live in Uk and we do not have many bead shops in my area. I swap things from UK for things from USA. I do not use Paypal so I find it difficult to get things from USA unless I can use a straight CC transaction. Money orders are not accepted from UK nor cheques unless drawn on a USA bank. My very dear friends on this group are very obliging when I need something special for my beadwork. Also they can send it as a gift so I do not have to pay UK charges of custom and Vat duty.
Like wise anything I send to them I send as a gift. Shirley
Loki,
Many folks here trade excess beads with others or use them for BFNR (beads for no reason) surprise packages.

Gotta love those beads.
Do you ever "swap," exchange gifts, for things other than beads?
Yes I have. I have had soup mixes, even cereals and peeps from USA. Not allowed to have peeps any more being a diabetic. My very first swap in 1997 was for embroidery threads before I started beadwork. Shirley

What are peeps?
Peeps are sugar coated marshmallows. Depending on the time of year they are done in different shapes and colours. Hearts at Valentines Day. Chickens and bunnies for Easter. Some for Halloween. Shirley

I like chocolate.
Where would i find those?? I've searched for years for chocolate marshmallows (they're cocoa flavored inside and out, not just coated) and can't find them. I used to love them when i was a kid, keep them in the freezer and they were just SO good!
Better yet, where can we get them in exchange for beads?
