WOW! For that cost, if I were Mike, I would upgrade to a Minor and purchase a concentrator. At the rate you are purchasing fuel, the new torch and concentrator would pay for themselves in less than two months. And you would only ever have to purchase propane, and one tank lasts for months.

I know you're in the UK, and I think there are supply places that would ship a Minor and concentrator over there.

As usual, it's the cost in one chunk. We know it would save us money in the long run but it's the up-front cost that's not feasible quite yet. We're definitely planning on an upgrade asap, we'll hang on by the skin of our teeth till then. We have to wait till they figure out if Mike's able to go back to work or if they'll give him disability or what. As it is, we're just too much up in the air for a big expense.

Yep, I know we can get the stuff sent over and all the extras. And the very instant we can afford it we will get the big setup.

For now, if the propane setup works at all it will be a huge help.

I love the UK but I do miss that ol' American commercialism that makes things available so much more readily. That said, we're happy as we are but for the cost of MAPP.
