My advise is different from several other people's. I think you should definitely indicate the kind of work you do in the name. Haveing the word "Jewelry" in the name should be specific enough, and cover both of your interests.
After experience with my own name/slogan, "Teva Yafae Original Designs (inspired by nature)", I have noticed the following:
- No one knows what I make. The big banner I have for our booth doesn't particularly draw people who want jewelry or nature-inspired apparel (although it draws many other vendors who want to know where I bought such a nice banner :) ).
- I thought the name would sound exotic and pretty, but actually it is just hard for people to spell or remember (except for people who speak hebrew. Those people insist on arguing with me about the meaning, and often insist that the jewelry's creator must be Israeli, denying the possibility that I myself may have created it!)
- Many people think it is my name. Since I am not incorporated, I have had a lot of problems with people writing checks to this name.
- I got my own domain with this name in it, but again it is not an easy combination to remember, and even people who know hebrew spell it wrong, because I took liberties with the transliteration to make it prettier.
As far as your list goes, I kind of like Magik Cat Jewelry, but I have seen a lot other companies with "Cat" in their name recently...not sure how much this matters. If you are planning to make a lot of items with cat motiefs, I think it would be great... a lot of people are looking for specific items like that and it will help your name connect with their recollection of your stuff. If you aren't it probably isn't as useful...but like someone said, it could make a cute icon!
