I own a small embroidery business an was looking at the newsgroups and came across this one so thought I would say hi to you all. I use the brother AC916 machine and it is not a bad system I do all my own designs using a program called Aps-ethos innovator which I think cost about £4000 for the software but it is good, I have tried all types of threads and backings so if you want my opinion on it I will let you know, I do not claim to be an expert on the embroidery machine but I know enough to get me around most problems, look forward to reading more of your posts ...... Thank you for your advice Bob - I would like to do my own digitizing but have PE Design 5 and just can't get into it at all. I've seen Origins and Generations but can't afford them at the present time. Would like something a little more user friendly :-)
