Hi all, What would be the best couple of books to buy for embroidery on R-T-W clothing? Especially those that have a partial lining in the top of the dress or jumper? Thanks, AK in PA

Machine embroidery or hand embroidery? Are you looking for patterns, designs? Or general knowledge on placement, style?

I would be using the designs that come on my machine HV#1 Possibly some ideas that I have seen on Sewing with Nancy, ie. freehanding leaves/stencils?
Most of what I am thinking of would be anywhere around the "bodice" area of the item I am making and selling?
I guess I should have phrased the question better. The info I am looking for would have to do with what kind of backing would be used? Layers? How would it effect the lining material?
What did I miss?
