Brother ULT2003D Finaly

I found really gooood price from internet for ULT 2003D. I make sure the Pacesetter Dealer. He is offering me about he can check up all the tension and stitches etc work before ship to me. He was saying I can do this my self over the phone, but easier if he do it himself. What do you think about this. Well I don't need to do this but, what do you think about this checking thing. I need here your opinion. Specially who is dealer come his news group. THANKs mimi

If you don't trust the dealer, have them ship it unopened. Inspect it for signs of tampering before signing the delivery receipt.

If you trust your dealer, have them open, inspect, and test before shipment. This way, you're more likely to get a problem free machine that's properly set up. Plus, the dealer may be able to offer better quality help, when the machine has been through their internal test processes. I'd trust MarvelousCreations.com or SewLowPrice.com, though I don't have any personal experience with either, except for phone conversations.

If you want local service & training, you might consider getting prices from bona fide Brother Pacesetter dealers, then approaching your local dealers to explain you'd rather purchase from them. Offer about 10% above the internet pricing, to include state taxes and a small profit. Some dealers will act like you just slapped them with a dead fish, others will want a happy customer coming into their store...
