Do anyone have a kenmore 385.19157 electronic sewing

It is made by Janome for Sears. I received my for my birthday 2 years ago this August. I have not done much decorated sewing with it yet. Do you have any suggestion and tips on what I should go?

Well, I have been sewing most of my 41 years. It is a second nature for me but with working a full time job, there are limited time. I used my machine mostly for making uniforms for me to wear to work and some baby blankets for co-workers new births.

This year I am beginning to give more time to my job of sewing by purchasing a elastic wizard, quiting wizard, ribbon wizard, adjustable top stitch seam glide, hemmer foot (4 & 6), binder foot, teflon foot, applique foot, pintuck foot, embroidary foot and curve master foot. I also have the ruffler, piping, gather, 1/4 seam, roller cording and walking foot.

This is why I am asking for tips and suggestions to play with my toys.

You certainly have some good toys and if that is the Kenmore I think it is, it is a great machine, too. Why not check on line at

www.nancy'snotions.com , to name a couple sites for project ideas. All the machine websites have free patterns for different projects. I always start with these tow, although I don't own and have never owned a Janome. A cousin has the latest and she pointed out their site to me. I am a well satified customer of Nancy's and have found lots of gift ideas there as well as projects for myself. Emily
