Viking D1 or ULT 2003D need more help please.

Thanks! Beowulf I'm glad you know about both machine. I need more help please!

Viking is on Sale in July. PC6000 and Quilt Designer are same price. lily 545 is about $300 less than Quilt Designer I was told 545 and Quilt D is same feathure and don't make 545 anymore. I thought Quilt D be able to update so, beter than 545. He did not tell me about need to buy stich card.

And, Ult2003D is come with Pe disigner 5.0 and price is $4600 Designer 1 is $4000 some with some designe soft +font customizer, but, no Dizitizing software. To buy Dizitizing & cusltomoizing software on sale about $870 for both of them. So, both of them are about same price. Now, which is easy to use and better stich quarlty also don't cost too much money for Options for after purches?

Viking dealer told me don't need oiling and not nessary to bring tune up or cleaning like other sewing mashine unless someting is wrong. Is it true? I like about this. Beninia is recomend cleaning once a year.

The only place you need to oil is where metal rubs against metal.

Please make sure your internet dealer is an authorized Brother Pacesetter dealer, not "just" a Brother dealer. Brother only honors warranties on machines purchased from authorized Pacesetter dealers.

If you've never owned an embroidery machine, it might be wise to purchase from a local dealer who is willing to provide assistance, as well as work with you regarding price.

In any case, please be sure to get a clear understanding (preferably in an Email) of what you're purchasing, including total price (shipping, taxes, etc), training (on-site, internet?), warranty service (what's covered, costs of repair & shipping), etc.

I bought mine on the internet for about half of the going price.....it had

45 minutes of use on the computer from a show..............never had need of service, although it carried a new machine warranty........great deal of savings to be had that way. I did buy from a dealer, though...
