viking rose 640 new to me outrageuos software prices

I was quoted 1999.00 to get the software to get digitized artwork into the
machine.
Is there a more cost effective way? I have the reader writer with the
dongle switch. can somebody help me?

I know, I had one too. Learn about other software by taking a look at:

a Google or Dogpile search with the words "embroidery" and "software." I learned a lot by daily lurking at alt.binaries.crafts.pictures
