Does anyone have any suggestions as to how a person could begin pursuing this amazing art? Any specific book recommendations for example, would be just great.

Yellow pages... GLASS STAINED & LEADED. Your local SG retailer probably has beginners classes, which is the best way to learn hands on. Good luck!
