what is good brand name glue for gluing glass to glass that will hold up to everyday use....thank you

Any silicone, E-6ooo craft glue, 3M DP105 2 part epoxy.

Weldbond works great.
There's no "one size fits all" answer to your question. The thickness, texture, and weight of the glass, the exposure (or not) to weather, how it is displayed, and probably a dozen more factors enter into the selection of the adhesive.
