Good magazines - periodicals

What are the most popular and practical magazines for someone learning stained glass? I'm hoping to find one or two good ones to get tips, ideas, inspiration, etc...

I can't seem to find any in the local book stores.

Joe,

Spectrumglass.com has "The Score", which is pretty good. You can get it from your glass supplier or directly from the web site.

Also, Glass Patterns Quarterly is a really good magaz> What are the most popular and practical magazines for someone learning

Your local stained glass shop should have "Stained Glass News". It comes out 4 times a year and is free.

There aren't any worth a damn to a beginner. Once you've learned the basics from your local SG class, you can pick up pointers here and there. Best way to learn is by seeing someone do it. Other than that, it's not that complicated.

Thank you Linda and Andy. I'll look into all three of these suggestions.

How about for inspiration? Are there any industry rags specific to stained/leaded glass that you keep track of to see what the contemporary masters of the craft are doing?
