Removing scratches?

Is there any way to remove scratches from glass, so that it cannot be seen? I actually have a couple of nice TV sets with minor scratches on the screen, and I only need them so the scratch isn't obvious. Is there any commercial product available, or can this be done with stuff from around the house?

When I read your first sentence, my first reaction was to fire the scratch out. Then I read further :-)

The way I understand it, most CRT displays have a protective coat on them. That's probably what's scratched. If the scratches are major, the glass underneath could be scratched, too.

I'd check with a television repair shop to see what they suggest.
