When it is working, this builder takes a wallet from a ready-made template to a full-scale paper cutting pattern without ever leaving the browser. It is a free, CAD-like pattern editor, and the newer 3D Builder side means a blank page is no longer the only starting point. The home page offers card holder, bifold, long wallet and trifold templates, though only a few wallet types can be opened in 3D so far.
The flow looks tidy. A template is picked, then dimensions and stitching parameters get adjusted in a 2D layout and parameter panel. The result can be checked in a 3D viewer: the assembly rotates, preview cards drop into the pockets, and an exploded view separates the front panel, the two front pockets, the back panel and the two back pockets. From there the browser print dialog previews a cutting template with cut lines plus punch marks for stitching at 1:1 scale, in A4, Letter or A3.
The demo details are what stand out to me. Height went from 72 mm to 80.5 mm while width held at 100 mm, with a 14 mm pocket step and a 5 mm corner radius. Stitching was set French style at 3.38 mm with a 3 mm edge distance, and the pocket cut-outs switched to a wave shape at 50.5 mm wide and 12 mm deep, with the inner pocket layer recolored navy blue. The Parts tab lists piece thicknesses of 1.2 mm and 0.8 mm alongside hole counts of 69, 15 and 46.
Two things stay open. Only a handful of wallet types exist in the 3D Builder for now, and custom hole spacing is something the maker has said will be added later. Whether patterns can be exported as a vector file also has not been answered yet.
