I went to my local bead shop for their 3rd anniversary sale. I want to make myself a beaded chatelaine and keep looking for inspiration there. Beside, I really like the owners. Well, I got some nice malachite beads and some silver twists, but nothing really called me of the "new" stuff that was out for the day. I had been there early in the week since I still had a $20 credit from filling my frequent shopper card. Besides, it was JAM PACKED in there and I don't do that dense crowd thing to well. And the line was nearly to the door for check out. (DH thought I was just going to the grocery store.)
Well, I got to the head of the line and chose my mystery discount. I should have had more stuff in my box, I grabbed a 40% off. And a freebie of some neat crystals. I think they will go well with the purple bead I got my first trip.
I finally finished a model I am doing for Dragonfly Stitches. And started Ladybug Gardeners. Tomorrow, I will work on an other UFO, but the fresh start felt great. LG should be a fast stitch. Especially if I go back to the bead shop and find some beads to replace all the French Knots. (sorry, I don't do French knots on aida!)
