Annoying Symbols

The 'intelligence' required from the software to do that is waaaay beyond the scope of the Patternmaker program and would cost far, far too much for Hobbyware to implement (you have to pay the programmers $$$) and still be able to keep the software affordable for the consumer.

The payoff is not worth the effort both in programming and in dollars. Sorry, but I have to agree with them.

The more i read this the happier i am i use my own ideas and patterns. Mostly i work straight on the canvas , and it sort of deveopes. Some times i draw my idea onto paper with squares , the kind we used in Math classes. when i have the general lines i trace the lines and decided how many xst will be enough for each pattern. I only go and look at patterns of xst when i want to make/show an existing Symbol of something ,[ that will be understood without Language],, Hence lately when i saw a flag with a very interesting Eagle , i became very Curious , How would one Chart such an eagle ? would a Computer Program help in such a case ? ,,,,, i never tried this kind .... mirjam

You're absolutely right. When there's the slightest likelihood that I might be confused which happens frequently or if I've changed the fibers or colors, I'll make a cheat sheet composed of a list of materials next to which I taped a small snippet.
