Awesome yarn

Hey Gang! I thought the knitters here might be interested in this yarn. I just got 6 skeins, 3 for mom, 3 for my best friend, and it is gorgeous. It is made from recycled silk banners in Nepal and Tibet, and is a free trade product. Purchases from the site also help fund mammograms for poor women. They were selling 3 skeins together, but discontinued it. You may still be able to get that deal in the clearance area of the site.

I bought 2 skeins of this yarn from a small shop in Jerome Arizona last spring. I thought it would be a good way to remember our vacation. I want to incorporate the silks in a sweater, as trim or a motif, but haven't been to the yarn store yet to look for computable yarns. It is beautiful and I am saving it for something special, which I better do soon or it will attach itself to the stash and that special knitting will never happen.
