Mainly For the Cat People .... Lovely Anchor kit.

Just received my Cross Stitch Gold and there`s the most BEAUTIFUL tabby cat with Art Nouveau border reveiwed there - You can buy it online from Sewandso.co.uk - and I can thoroughly recommend them to deal with. Anything I order from there arrives the next day.

Mind you, it takes some finding - not least because there`s so much there! I selected the "cats" section in the subject browser and found dozens - all beautiful.

I can see TIa Mary spending a small fortune if she finds it!

Just found the Past Impressions site, too and if you sign up gor their newsletter you get a free Tatty Ted chart, and bargain offers on kits.

Nice site Pat - but if I buy one more pattern before I complete a few of the dozens that I have, I shall commit myself to an institution somewhere. There are just so many gorgeous patterns out there these days - wish I had 10 hands to work more than one at a time. :-))

Hee Sharon i always dreamed to have More hands Just so that i can Knit crochet and read at the same time ,,,,Whenever i saw the Indian Godess with the 6 arms i would think so , but than i realized that this will naturally lead tosewing , knitting etc 6 sleeves for every thing !!!! thus maybe we are better off as we are :>:>:>:> mirjam

Never thought of the six-arm aspect Mirjam - good thinking. :-)) There is just so much to love in the way of patterns, family, pets, Christmas lights (yes I love them too) and just plain living - we really shouldn't wish for more, should we? Hope all is well at your end of the world. All is covered in the white fully stuff right now here in the Maritimes - it's very pretty, but just a bit chilly for these old bones.

Now I have a mental picture of one of those six armed creatures doing embroidery with the top set of arms, crochet with the second set and knitting with the third - maybe while listening to a good book on tape

- maybe "A Christmas Carol" ???? Liz from Humbug

Oh what a lovely idea!! And of course all the hands would be doing something different - just imagine what we could accomplish! :-))
