good that the message showed up.. we just got dsl in our town last week, and we got on, our package came in the mail yesterday and we hooked up too it last night,

had enough email address changes over the last few months, it has been hard to keep up.

been really busy with the kids this spring/summer both home and I have a Son who likes computer games and likes to play online as well as off-line.

I have NOT quilted durring the time away, My sewing machine has been used a little since that time. I still have my son's quilt that needs to be quilted, along with some other UFO's that are ready to be sandwitched and quilted.

yes it has been a busy season with the veggie gardens, flower gardens and the added lots that I have been planting up with trees and flowering shurbs. since we have had little rain, I have to water and that has become a full time job, as everything I have is still young and not able to withstand going without some water I have 300 ft of hose I drag around now, which is better then the buckets I was using.

I did make a pet bed a week ago for our Sadie, I bought one at Big lots which was the biggest they had for 10.00 but it was just a tad too small for her.. It looks good, but the sides and the spray glue I used is trying to come undo..

I still have one to make for Mystic, but he will not have side walls, just a flat square with lots of stuffing..

DD finished her first year in Collage and moved home for the summer, she is working as a watess at a local cafe in town here ( they are only open Friday, Sat, Sun and Monday) She is saving her money now for an Appt when she goes back to collage. Insteand of helping out, she has put a lot more work on me, and more stress on the family.

We bought her a 1991 New Yorker.. It is junk but we was hoping it wasn't going to be.. The car almost cought on fire on July 3rd, lucky she was in town when it started.. but it was smoking when she got home.... DH looked at it the next day, and bought some brake fuild.. looks like it might have been out and that is why the brakes locked up on her.. after pouring some in, it is ok.. the milage thing is broke a few miles after we bought it, he burned his hand trying to get the battery to start. it was having trouble starting, but quilt.. and now it has started again.. also the Air needed some stuff, but they changed that over to the new stuff they have now.. DD hate the car and calls it her " Boat" and or "Piece of JUNK" Just wish we could have affored her something a little better.. but hopfully if it last a year the money we paid for it will work out.

She did go get her DL's a few week ago and passed her driving test. she still needs a lot of pratce and being home will help her in that before she goes back to a bigger town. I worry about her turning and backing out of parking lots.. I just know she will run into something before long if she doesn't listen to us.

Dh's job is now over, and he has a lesser one, less pay, no insurance, no hoilday until two years.. So I don't think he will stay with the Company, looking for one that pays better & has insrunce is very hard here.. unless we want to move to a really big City, then the money he makes would be hard or harder then we have it now, as the cost of living is much more. could not even sell what we have here, to make a down payment much less a house.. LOL

What has everyone been up too? I hate to think that she has to drive this thing to get her to school and to her appt.

Nice to see you again C. I remember my first car, a battleship gray 64 chevy. One thing about it, it was a safe car as it was heavy metal. Linda in Tx
