I'm using a 80/20 cotton as warp and am breaking the threads from each side. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

Try posting on rec.crafts.textiles.yarn. I think the weavers hang out there.

Good morning .
1 . before using anything as warpo , make the PULL TEST- release warp tension when not weaving.
- use 2 threads instead of one as one thread on the sides taht will become selfedges.
- Thread a Nylon thread on the sides while weaving , remove after weaving .. mirjam formatting link
