Craft show display for pilows

Would it be possible to make a tower with empty shoeboxes on the display table, cover it with a large tablecloth and sort of tuck the the tablecloth close to the boxes so you have ascending 'ledges' on which you can put pillows ? It would be a way of allowing for many pillows in a relatively confined space.

Are the pillows stuffed? Or do you just have the cover lying flat?

I always found when I worked in a store that people liked the ones that were stuffed, even if the ones without stuffing were the same. One of the things we did, instead of putting in a pillow form, we filled it with foam peanuts or shredded paper.

I'm not sure what you could do for display. We always had lots of furniture to put the pillows on. You could put a loveseat or lounge chair in front and cover it with pillows. Mind you might get every tired husband at the show taking a rest in front of your booth that way. Dora

maybe use some book cases behind your tables. If you have allot of empty large cardboard box's ,stack them and cover with a nice table cloth.make a tri pod effect. Barbara

When I go to craft shows, if an artisan has a lot of similar or identical things on display, I think of mass production which devalues the pieces. In other words, sometimes less is more -- put out a few pieces and as they're sold put out more.

hmmmmmm... do you want people to look but not touch or is touching allowed?
