cross stitch programs

Ok, I don't know how long it's been since this topic has been discussed.... I'm wondering how the various cross-stitch charting programs rate these days. I'm not a professional and don't want to pay professional prices, but would like to have the options for specialty stitches. Any recommendations? Lisa

I've been using Easy Grapher Pro for a few years. Not cheap. No major updates in a few years.

But I can make it do everything I need. And I've finally gotten comfortable with using it.
