In case you haven't seen this one, there's a newish book with Native American cross stitch designs. Here's the info: Author: Joan Elliott Title: Native American cross stitch Pub.: David & Charles (England) (I found it ironic that it was published across the pond!) Date: 2005 ISBN: 0715320718

105 p.

Here's a link to a pic at Amazon:

has some really pretty designs in it, quite detailed; unfortunately(IMO), they're in color. Each design has a short explanation with abit of history and what different elements mean. There is analphabet, some nice sayings, some baby things, borders, one design isthe Apache Wedding saying ("Now you will feel no rain, for each of youwill be shelter for the other", etc. ....), some have beadwork on themand there are lots of ideas for using portions of the designs in avariety of ways.

Here is Joan Elliott's Native American Cross Stitch from a remainder dealer for a better price (Edward R. Hamilton). I've shopped ERH many times and have received very good service.

I just may have to get it - I have the Julie Hasler one, which is stupendous.

I'm not sure offhand without looking up my account what I paid for it.

I do quite a lot of on-line surveys, these days - and usually choose to get paid in Amazon vouchers. It`s great being able to get loads of books/DVDs etc., and not spend a penny! You usually get far more for your money with Amazon, in any case.

Pat

Hey - do those surveys work in the USA?
