A Big Oopsie!!!!! Apologies!!!

I checked my yahoo email last night (something I only do once every coupla months or so, since 99% of what I get is spam for cheap drugs, and offers for money from wealthy Nigerian ex-patriots), and there were several messages supposedly from Yowie (Vicky). They contained a link to a web site that looked familiar (flicker or something like it), so I clicked.... next thing I know it's sending out messages to all my yahoo addy book members that are invites to join....

And then I has some vague memory of someone here saying something was sending things out in her name, I know Tweed (Christina) is one, but I wanted to remember that Yowie was one too. I slap my forehead in one of those "I shoulda had a V8" moments.

So, my apologies goe out to everyone that got an email from "Nunya Biznizz"..... while I go nuke yahoo....

Flixter? I got something in my inbox yesterday, too. It was from a former student worker (gone for over a year) and I had no idea why she'd be sending me an invite to join that so I didn't click but just typed in the website and decided, nope, wasn't gonna do anymore clicking on *that* site!

Glad you brought this up, since it confirmed my suspicions, as well as serving as a warning to others!
