If any colors have been proven not colorfast please add them here. I am using it for embroidery on an already done quilt. Thanks a bunch. barbara

The usual caution is that saturated reds including some maroons tend to run. The easiest thing to do with any colours you suspect is to run cold water over them. That will tell you if the colour is going to run--if it does, just keep rinsing until the water runs clear, Dawne
Less water-wasteful is to fill a small bowl with cold water and toss the floss in. Let it soak a bit, then hang to dry.
Finally one I understand. This makes me feel I'm not totally out of the loop.

If there is a location that one can go to and find a listing of colors (of different manufacturers including DMC) that are not colorfast in washing, please do inform me where that can be found ?
Thankyou! Nadia
