Fair Results

I'm certainly happy dancing around here. Both my county fair entries won "Premium First" blue ribbons. I have to say I was disappointed in the number of entries and wish more stitchers would enter. But, blue is blue and happy is good.

My entries were "Feline Fascination" and Lily Pond Dreams. You can see them here if you like.

This is sooooo true! Congrats on the ribbons!

I know what you mean about people entering...we have the same problem here.

Beautiful work Mag - I was looking at your album the other day saying 'oh I did that one' 'Oh I did that one too' I loved doing Feline Fascination - those little faces popped right up all of a sudden, didn't they?

Yes, and I love when that happens. Most of the time we are just too close to get the right perspective of our work. Then one day we step back, or around, or sideways and boom, it jumps out at us and we get that warm fuzzy, self-huggy feeling of accomplishment.

It's grand!!!

Congrats -- lovely work!

I'm starting to think about entering something in the Maryland state fair. There are always *tons* of entries. I'd hoped to finish my big piece, but it's not going to be ready in time so now I'm finishing up some smaller pieces I had going and considering my options.
