Results from Canfield Fair Entries

I entered my first quilt I ever made in the Canfield Fair. I didn't get any Thing on it. But I couldn't enter it under first quilt ever made because I didn't quilt it myself. I also couldn't enter it under handicapped division Because I didn't make it all myself, since I can't hold a needle to quilt. But I am still happy and excited because I actually made a quilt and 5 years ago I couldn't feed myself. God is good. Here is a list of what I entered and what I won.

A cloth bowl No ribbon

Queen size quilt I machine pieced No ribbon

my tie purse no ribbon

Raven's Dog quilt 3rd Place

A Christmas Tree Counted Cross Stitch Sweat shirt I did before I ever got sick 3rd Place

A fall appliqué sweat shirt Honorable Mention

My appliquéd Jean Jacket 3rd Place

I still got some new ribbons to hang with my old ones that I had for counted cross stitch before I got sick. I am very happy. God has been good to me. I can walk, see, feed myself, and now drive again. Now I am down on the steroids and I am starting to look like myself again. It has been a long haul but I have made it.

You won something with each and every entry: the knowledge that you are doing better each and every day and are now able to return to entering items in the fair.

Congratulations!

Mary

Congrats. Maybe next year you will do even better!!!

The first three I didn't win any ribbon. You must of read it wrong. But, I entered 7 things and won 4 ribbons. Good enough for me.

Nope. What I was trying to say was that you won more than a ribbon could ever convey.

If you entered in the Canfield Fair we could be neighbors. Waving to you. Michele from Newton Falls

Woohoo! Congrats on the ribbons, but even more good wishes on having entered at all! You're a marvel! :)

Huge congratulations She. The list of your entries is a triumph in itself - no matter about ribbons. But then to have won ribbons as well is just Mighty! I hope you will bask in this happiness for a while, and then get busy on next year's entry!! . In message , She in PA writes

Congratulations! It is wonderful to get some positive feedback for all the work we all enjoy with our quilting hobby!
