Floor Stand Help

New to this newsgroup and in need of a new floor stand. Can everyone pleas e tell me what floor stand you use, what the advantages/disadvantages are, which stand you wish you had instead. I use Q Snaps a lot, so any stand I get will have to have some way of using them. Your reply's are anxiously a waited. Thank you.

I use a Gazelle but I don't use it with Q-snaps. I usually use Q-snaps for smaller projects and hold them in hand.

Fran, I was thinking about that one. How does it work with Q Snaps? I don' t recall what the name of the one I have now is, I bought it so long ago, b ut I've noticed over the past year that the screws aren't holding it togeth er very erll anymore. :( I do a lot of stitching not by choice, but it tak es my mind off of the pain of having 6 herniated disc, and gives me somethi ng to concentrate on besides the pain. A good stand is a must, and having o ne that has an attachment to hold the pattern would be very handy. Thank y ou for your reply.

I decided on the Ergo. Due to severe back issues there are many times I wo uld just like to just recline and stitch, which with my current stand is no t possible. Ordering it today so hopefully it will get here soon. Thanks to all who responded and especially to Fran for pointing me to the sight.

Well, I ordered the Ergo on Saturday. Since you have to use PayPal to orde r, I went and transferred money into my husbands account and it's been take n out. I have yet to here from Artisandesign about my order regarding when it will be shipped and when I can expect it. Sent them an email today ask ing what the status is and hopefully they will reply. Are they always shor t on the side of communication or is this just a fluke? I think if I don't hear from them by tomorrow afternoon I will give them a call.
