Happy Leap Day!

Kathy at Needle Delights reminds us: Hi Stitchers -

Leap years are needed to keep our calendar in alignment with the earth's revolutions around the sun. Just think - an extra day of stitching - that's 1,440 extra minutes of stitching!!!

I hope you all spend at least 1000 of those extra minutes doing something fun!

I have my first guest at the Backpacker's Lodge.

I think that's auspicious, don't you?

Catherine

I wish people would NOT cross post, this is the stupidity that happens.

Yes - that is a good omen! C

ROTFL! When I first read it, I thought Cathy'd written 'suspicious'. I got to wondering what could possibly be suspicious about a guest at the Lodge...

I hope you're not playing fast and loose, young woman!?!?!?!

Sheena, please don't drive Cathy and Joyce away again...

C

But the point is that those of us on rctn have no idea what Catherine is talking about because she's posting from beenz. So she's not here to be driven away, and Sheena's post went only to rctn, not to beenz.

Elizabeth (who doesn't care for cross posting, either)

Huh ? I don't even know who Cathy is ???? It was a post completely out of context and meaningless to most of us I expect - sort of like a private joke ! Blame Karen for cross posting, that's what happens!

I think I remember Joyce telling us of her daughter, who does tours of the back-country in South Africa. It sounded interesting; quite a mixed group, aren't we.

Gill

We would be if that person were actually here, but she was posting to another group.

Elizabeth

Yes, Cathy is my daughter. She was replying to Karen's post which was cross-posted, and didn't realise. She stopped reading rctn quite a while ago because she didn't have time, when there were many more posts than there are now.

Joyce >

Well.... now you mention it... Went to Bethulie for an auction, and as my car is playing up I got my neighbour to take me. He's 66. And all the way there and back he made suggestive comments that made me VERY uncomfortable. Jaun and I are back together, so (thank God) I could tell him I was perfectly well satisfied with my younger man, and didn't need an older one! lol

Catherine

Has anyone bothered to tell her she is appearing here as well ? Maybe she would not like to be so public ?

As a further note, I now understand that she is Joyce's daughter, and I was not instrumental in 'driving her away' - I wanted to clear that up as the statement was made.
