It's about floss . . . .

Nov 09, 2005 1 Replies

I was at Hobby Lobby and saw these - they are a variation on a friendship bracelet that looks relatively easy to make (they also had a choker version). It's essentially craft floss wrapped around . . . that's where I'm stuck. It's not wire and it's thicker than the sretchy elastic. Any ideas? Hemp? Anybody made these?

Thanks!

Linda

If it looks like hair wraps then it's wrapped around more floss. You start with, say, three strands in different colors (A, B, C). Double them, giving you six strands. Begin working with A, wrapping it around the two strands of B and two strands of C. When you want to change to B then lay the stands of A into the core with C and lift B out and begin wrapping with it.

It's really just hair wraps without hair.
