It's going to be a busy year

Not sure what I've gotten myself into, stitching wise that is. :)

I'm doing a model for Joanne Gatenby (X's and Os) called "The Sewing Lesson. The art is by Shelley McVittie and shows two women in a sewing shop. One is teaching the other. The art is here on her website

are lots of quarter stitches. Joanne said it took her 9 hours just to chart one quilt. Luckily there is no exact deadline, but I should be able to finish it sometime in the spring.

I earlier stitched a model of "Afternoon Delight" for Jo - it is also a Shelley McVittie piece.

Then, I signed up for the Goldwork course from the EAC. A group of us from our Guild are starting this in January.

Lastly, I agreed to help design and teach a band sampler (again at Guild). My part is a pattern darning band. I've done some designing on it, but still have to figure out exactly what I want to do.

I'm beginning to feel a little bit lit Addo Annie - "I just cain't say no"
