Just found a great cross stitch site

I bought "WhistleJacket-George Stubbs" from the Online Needlework show in April. It would be awesome if I could somehow convert this to a black horse. (Is that Fred's area of expertise or Jim's ?) The description notes that the background is stitched and it calls for 87 colors! I think I'd use a hand dyed fabric myself and call it a day. Here's the link to what I hope is the correct page- scroll to the bottom:

but I don't know how to do the "tinyurl" thingI see they also have "The Horse Fair" by Rosa Bonheur- one of my alltime favorites- the barn I learned to ride at had a print of thishanging in the tack room- I could look at it for hours. Thanks for the link - I never thought to look for the web site (ormaybe I was afraid to look & be tempted!!!)

I don't think it would be all that hard to convert if you had a color card or all the grays/blacks laid out and just matched shade to shade. How many colors are in the horse itself?

I would agree with you on that!!! Gorgeous picture, though!
