picture 5 is a pictureof a ladybug, on what looks like a poppy bud. I have captured thispicture, and turned it into a CCS pattern. I did it to my normalspecifications, one pixel per stitch and 90 colours. This produces apattern 166 by 171 stitches. It is clearly possible to produce any numberof patterns, with fewer stitches, and fewer colours, and hence less detail. If anyone is interested, patterns would be free; just send me an email, and we can discuss details. You will need to download the *free* PatternViewer from

I'd love it Jim, but Pattern Viewer still doesn't like Macs... C
I would be glad to get the pattern for you and stick it in the mail.

I can do the same. I would need you to email me with a snail mail address, and a clear statement as to whether 166 by 171 stitches and 90 colours is acceptable. There is another alternative. You can capture the picture yourself, crop it the way you want, reduce the picture to the size you want, send it to me and tell me how many colours you want. I will then send you the pattern by snail mail. Alternatively, do you have a friend and neighbour with a PC?
