Lap Frame Advice

Hi, I have a Lowery floor frame which I love, but I am interested in purchasing a lap frame. The only one I could find information on is K's creation. I can't decide between the Original Adjustable Lapframe or the Z-Frame Lapframe which is open sided. There is also the La Petite Lapframe which is smaller and might be good for RVing. I would appreciate any comments about this brand or any other brand of lapframe. I use Q-Snaps most of the time, otherwise I use stretcher bars.

I use a frame similar to the Sit-On-It model shown at Joann.com (URL below). I use it when watching TV in bed, and in waiting rooms, etc. I sit in the chair, slide the paddle under my right leg, and the hoop/frame sits over my lap and above the arms of the chair. Wouldn't want to be without it now that I've used it. Don't recall what I paid for mine, but I've had it for a while and it doesn't show any signs of failing me. (Mine has a long dowel instead of the slotted arm to adjust for height.)

Barb, I have the K's Creations lap frames in both the standard base and the baby base (adjust 9" - 13"). Wonderfully made. I highly recommend their products.

Barb, I highly recommend the Elan Lap/table stand by Artisan Designs. The thing I love the best about it other than its stability on a table, is the compact design when travelling. Everything screws to the base, giving you a compact piece that easily fits in luggage. (I also have their Gazelle floor stand) I have had some problems with the wooden knobs splitting, but they have replaced them for free both times.
